The Director of Plant Operations/Facilities Engineering plan, organize, supervise, coordinate, and control the activities of plant operations and Biomedical Engineering functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, H.V.A.C., mechanical, electrical systems, utilities medical equipment and grounds of this hospital in an operative and safe working condition. The Director of Facilities Engineering shall be accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for planning and maintaining an effective organization, for administering labor and material controls, for training of maintenance personnel in safety and for effective management practices.

Requirements: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent; Knowledge of institutional maintenance principles and techniques, biomedical engineering, and all applicable local, state, and federal codes (i.e., building, plumbing, electrical). Bachelors degree preferred, minimum of an associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in healthcare; or equivalent combination of education and experience
