POSITION SUMMARY:

Promotes quality patient care through the performance of routine and invasive imaging procedures utilizing appropriate technique, established protocols, physician direction and age-specific guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of PACS, equipment, supplies, radiation safety and quality assurance guidelines and applies such knowledge in day-to-day performance of duties

1. Graduate from an approved/accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.

2. Required certification in two of the following modalities beyond radiology. ARRT(R)(T)(M)(MR)(N)(CT), ARMRIT certification, NMTCB

3. Texas Medical Board Medical Radiologic Technologist

4. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.
