$12,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

3/12s, 6:30am 6:30pm, Days, Beeper Pay, Active Call Pay

JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Cardiac Cath Lab Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse provides patient care for Cardiovascular patients before and after their Cath Lab procedure
  • Supports non-invasive Cardiology testing as needed
  • Is accountable to uphold expectations and initiatives surrounding CARES and the Patient Experience
  • Cares for Adult and Geriatric patient populations
  • Accountable for the:
    • Observation, assessment, intervention, evaluation, rehabilitation, or health teachings of a person who is ill, injured, informed, or experiencing a change in normal health processes
    • Maintenance of health or prevention of illness
    • Administration of a medication or treatment as ordered by a physician,
    • Supervision or teaching of nursing
    • Administration, supervision, and evaluation of nursing practices, policies, and procedures
    • Performance of an act delegated by a physician and the development of a nursing care plan

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2 Years of experience in acute care, critical care nursing
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience highly preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse accepted by Texas State Board of Nursing to engage in professional nursing
  • Technical, clerical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills relevant to patient care/area
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification required
  • Other certification requirements as defined by the certification policy
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Baccalaureate degree or progression to this degree
  • National Certification as recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • Bi-lingual or Multi-lingual preferred
